Taroona Baptist Church (TBC) is a community of faith that intentionally seeks to provide a caring, forgiving environment for people to meet God, worship God and grow spiritually.

It is located at 124 Channel Highway, Taroona, a suburb of Hobart, about 10 km south of the city. We believe that, at present, TBC is the most southerly Baptist church in Australia. To get there, Metro buses stop right at the door (Bus Stop 38), or if travelling by car, we can provide plenty of parking space.

Church services are held each Sunday at 10:00am, and as the position of Pastor is currently vacant, the message is brought each week by a visiting speaker. The music is directed by the Worship Coordinator. Services are followed by morning tea.

The church is managed by deacons who are elected by the members. The deacons are charged with the day-to-day running of the church. We believe in social inclusion, and everyone is welcome.

On the first Sunday in each month, a prayer meeting is held at 8:30am, followed by breakfast at 9:00am.
